Mangaluru, Nov 28, 2022: A preliminary meeting was held on November 27, Sunday to discuss the security arrangements to be made at the Kadri Shri Manjunatheshwara shrine in Mangaluru in view of the information that suspected terrorists had even planned to target the shrine.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath presided over the meeting. Some measures like allowing devotees to enter the shrine from a single entrance, installing of metal detectors and bag screening machine and security arrangements at parking slot, were sugested at the meeting.

Temple Managing Committee President A J Shetty, Executive Officer P Jayamma,Trustees and others were present.
