Belthangady, Dec 08, 2022: A labourer hailing from Chikkamagaluru lost his life after a tractor carrying construction materials for the retaining wall of a vented dam at Bangarapalke in Malavanthige village overturned on December 7, Wednesday.

The deceased is Lokesh (32). The tractor driver Deepak and a labourer Fakiresh managed to escape without much injuries.

It is learnt, the tractor laden with iron rods overturned when Lokesh was standing near the vehicle.
