Puttur, Dec 13, 2022: A 30 year old man from Bannur in Puttur taluk who was in the United States to pursue higher studies has met a tragic end in a train accident at the state of Iowa on December 9.

The deceased is T A Subrahmanya Paddillaya. Subrahmanya was an alumnus of IIT Madras and had travelled to the US for higher studies two years ago.

Subrahmanya was the son of Mysuru’s senior hotelier Ananthakrishna Rao.
