Mangaluru, Dec 29, 2022: A delegation of Muslim leaders from Dakshina Kannada district led by Deputy Leader of Legislative Assembly and Mangaluru MLA U T Khader met Home Minister Araga Jnanendra at the Suvarna Vidhana Saudha in Belagavi and submitted a memorandum seeking compensation to the family of Jaleel who was murdered at Katipalla near Suratkal recently.

The delegation also sought stern action against the culprits and measures to ensure law and order in the district.

The delegation included former MUDA Chairman Ibrahim Kodijal, former mayor K Ashraf, Addu Krishnapur and others.
