Bengaluru, July 10, 2023: With the state government deciding to conduct a fresh investigation into the bitcoin scam, it has come to light that the Mangaluru cooker bomb blast case accused Mohammad Shariq used to get lakhs of rupees from abroad in the form of crypto currency for his terror related activities.

Investigations have revealed that Shariq and other ISIS handlers used to get funds through crypto currency from dark web. The additional charge sheet submitted by the NIA has a mention of this.
