Udupi, July 17, 2023: A disturbing video depicting a shocking incident has gone viral on social media, showing a tipper truck dragging a Santro car for a kilometer.

The incident took place during a journey from Sagar to Mangaluru, where the Santro car collided with the tipper truck traveling from Belman to Baikampady. Unaware that the car was trapped beneath its dumper, the tipper driver accelerated, possibly out of fear of retaliation from bystanders.

However, local residents immediately pursued the tipper truck and eventually forcing him to halt. The Padubidri police quickly arrived at the scene, apprehending the tipper driver.

Prompt medical assistance was provided to a woman and two men who were injured in the Santro car, as they were promptly transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
