Mangaluru, July 21, 2023: Street vendors and those selling goods on footpath on either sides of the stretch of the airport road from Yeyyadi to Padavinangady were vacated by the MCC officials on July 20, Thursday.

The measure has been taken as this is a prominent road linking the Mangaluru International Airport and used by people including VIPs travelling to the airport. The measure has also been taken to ensure there is no obstruction to traffic on this prominent road.

The MCC officials have told the vendors that selling in push carts is permissible and no permanent stall should be put up.
