Puttur, Aug 11, 2023: The Gruha Jyothi scheme, one of the five guarantees of the Congress government, aimed at providing free electricity of 200 units per month, will be launched at Puttur Town Hall on August 11 Friday at 12 noon by DK District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao.

Assembly Speaker U T Khader will grace the occasion. Energy Minister K J George, Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Rajya Sabha Member and Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade, MLAs Dr Bharath Shetty, Y Harish Poonja, Rajesh Naik, U Bhagirathi Murulya, Umanath Kotian, MLCs Kota Srinivas Poojary, B M Farooq, SL Bhojegowda, Harish Kumar, K Manjunath Bhandari will participate in the programme.
