Malpe, Oct 03, 2022: Three tourists were rescued from drowning by the Life Guards at Malpe beach on October 2, Sunday.

Those rescued are Pradeep (30), Nagesh Venkatesh (30) and Ramesh (43) from Bengaluru. There had been a heavy influx of tourists at the beach during weekend.It is learnt, Padeep was under the influence of alcohol when he was literally washed away and eventually was rescued by the life guards in the morning. The other two persons were rescued in the afternoon.
