Bantwal, April 08, 2023: One person lost his life and three others sustained injuries after the car in which they were travelling went out of control of the driver, rammed into a divider and overturned at BC Road late night on April 7, Friday.

The deceased is Sadashiva Acharya (77) of Nandarabettu. His grandson Akash who as driving the car, son-in-law Suresh Acharya and son Ganesh Acharya have sustained minor injuries.

They were returning home after participating in a religious function at Puttur when the mishap occurred near the Ajjibettu cross. Their house was just a little away from the place where the mishap took place.

Melkar traffic police have registered a case.
