Mangaluru, Aug 03, 2023: CCB police in an operation conducted at Talapady have arrested three drug peddlers and have seized MDMA drugs from them.

The police acting on a definite information that the trio were selling the drug in Tachani area of Talapady-Devipura road raided the place and arrested the accused who reportedly procured the drug from Bengaluru.

Those arrested a Jakir Hussain alias Tachi (28), Amir alias Ammi (34) of Sajipamunnur and Hafeez alias Appi (35) of Ullal.

The police seized 200 grams MDMA worth Rs 10 lakhs, 3 mobile phones and digital weighing machine from the arrested men. The value of the seized goods is estimated at Rs 15,70,500.
