Mangaluru, Dec 19, 2022: Mohammad Shariq, the accused in the cooker bomb blast case that took place in an autorickshaw at Nagori in the city on November 19 will be undergoing a surgery at the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru on December 20, Tuesday.

It may be recalled here that Shariq was recently shifted to Bengaluru from the hospital in Mangaluru where he was under treatment.

As Shariq has sustained serious injuries on his face and chest, plastic surgeon Dr K T Ramesh will be operating on him. He is expected to be discharged in a week’s time after which NIA team will take him to its custody.
