Kasargod, July 08, 2023: A couple and their two children were found dead at their house at Malappuram Munduparamba.

The deceased are Sheena (35), the manager of the Kasargod branch of SBI, her husband Sabeesh (37), manager of a private finance company of Malappuram and their children Harigovindan (6) and Shreevardhan (2).

While Sabeesh and Sheena were found hanging from ceiling fans in separate rooms of their house, the two children were found dead on the floor of the room where their father was found hanging.

Sheena was recently transferred to the SBI branch in Kasargod. It is learnt the couple ended their lives along with the kids after they came to know about the rare genetic disorder that had affected both their children.

Sources revealed that the medical report of the second child was received by the couple on Thursday and it had confirmed that even the second child had the same genetic disorder as the elder child. It is learnt the genetic disorder was supposed to affect mobility and even death of the children before they could reach the age of 12.

It is suspected that the couple were agonized over the fate of their two children and might have ended their lives.
