Mangaluru, April 08, 2023: The 3rd Additional District and Sessions Court of Mangaluru has acquitted underworld don Bannanje Raja in three shootout cases.

The first case is pertaining to the year 2000 wherein Bannanje Raja and his accomplices had attacked a couple who were returning home after a wedding, while in the second case reported in 2004, he had allegedly fired at the office of Rohan Corporation in order to extort money. The third case is related to 2011 wherein he was allegedly involved in firing at Suresh Bhandari, the owner of Prithvi Developers who was in his car with his wife and daughter.

Bannanje Raja was arrested in 2015 at Morocco.
