Mangaluru, Aug 07, 2023: Personnel of the women’s police station have arrested two push cart vendors on the charges of misbehaving with children. The measure has been taken after complaints against them were made by public during last week’s police phone-in programme.

Those arrested are Sooraj and Amar. They were reportedly following and misbehaving with children in the Attavar area. Following complaints, City Police Commissioner had instructed the police to act and the two were arrested and booked under POCSO Act.

ACP Mahesh Kumar and others were part of the operation.
