Vittal, July 31, 2023: Vittal Police have arrested three persons in connection with the case of rape of a minor Dalit girl. Police said all the three arrested are Sangh Parivar activists.

Those arrested are Akshay Devadiga (25) of Moodbidri, Kamalaksha Belchada (30) from Bayaru and Sukumar Belchada (28) from Beripadavu. While Akshay is a painter by profession, Kamalaksha is a mason and Sukumar, a driver.

A POCSO case has been registered against the arrested persons. The three reportedly sexually abused the minor on different occasions.
