Mangaluru, Nov 30, 2022: Following a viral video of a beef biriyani at a hotel which was circulating in social media, Konaje police raided Taj canteen near Mudipu on Tuesday.

It is learnt during inspection police found beef biriyani and beef in the hotel. Sources revealed that the hotel owner Husain has been taken into custody by the police.

The raid followed the information passed on to the police by local Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists. It is learnt activists of the organisations had also accompanied the police during the raid.
