Mangaluru, june 20, 2023: Offering garlands or bouquets to the Deputy Commissioner by officials who visit him, have been banned. Even offering garlands and bouquets have been banned in any official programme which is attended by the Deputy Commissioner. Instead of flowers, books can be given.

Additional DC Krishnamurthi has informed that Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan has issued an order in this regard.
