Mangaluru, Jul 03, 2023: A pedestrian lost his life after he was run over by an ambulance at Talapady on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased is Francis D’Souza (62) of Kayyar in Kasargod. He was crossing the road to board a bus when an ambulance which was heading towards the city from Kerala knocked him down. There was no patient in the ambulance. The driver of the ambulance himself shifted Francis to the hospital.

Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case.
