Sullia, Aug 31, 2023: Three out of the four labourers who were critically injured after a speeding car knocked them down while they were standing on the roadside at Adkar in Sullia on August 31, Thursday morning, have died in the hospital.

The deceased are Chandrappa, Regappa and Mantesh of Ranebennur in Haveri.

A car on way to Mangaluru from Madikeri went out of control of the driver and had knocked down the labourers and even hit a lorry parked nearby.

Another injured labourer named Venkappa is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
