Mangaluru, Fe 04, 2023: Mangaluru North Traffic Police have arrested a Tulu comedian and YouTuber in connection with a hit and run case that claimed the lives of two persons and seriously injured another near the Padupanambur petrol bunk on the National Highway 66 on Tuesday midnight.

The arrested person is Arpith of Haleyangady. The car which he was driving had rammed into three men who had stopped their lorry and were replacing the tyre which had got punctured.

The lorry was heading towards Kerala from Indore in Madhya Pradesh when it had a tyre puncture. Achal Singh (30) and Bablu (23) of Madhya Pradesh had died in the mishap while Anish (42) of Kerala had sustained injuries. The car was over speeding resulting in the mishap.
