Mangaluru, July 31, 2023: Two youth drowned while swimming in a water body at Alape Padpu on July 30, Sunday. The deceased are Varun (26), son of Vijay and Veekshith (28), son of Shekhar.

The two were swimming when the mishap took place. Though their friends tried to save them, it went futile. The police have registered a case and are investigating to find about the circumstances that led to the tragedy.
