Udupi, Jan 05, 2023: Police have arrested two persons on the charges of running a prostitution racket at a lodge near the old KSRTC bus stand in the city.

Those arrested are Jayanth Salian (46) of Kaup Tenka Ermal and Dinesh S (42) of Hebri Nadpalu.

The police raided the lodge following a tip off and rescued a woman. Four mobile phones and a cash of Rs 5600 have also been seized.

Police said the duo were misusing the woman by using her for flesh trade so that they could eke out a living from the trade.
