Udupi, April 14, 2023:  Udupi’s sitting MLA Raghupathi Bhat  has said that the BJP candidate from the constituency Yashpal Suvarna would win by a margin of over 60,000 votes.

Speaking to reporters along with Yashpal Suvarna and other party leaders on April 13, Thursday, Raghupathi Bhat said he would campaign for Suvarna all along and added that any disappointment was a thing of post.

He said former CM Yediyurappa spoke to him over phone and that he also spoke to CM Bommai. He said the party has chosen a good candidate for Udupi.

Candidate Yashpal Suvarna who also spoke said he would campaign  by highlighting the developmental works undertaken by Raghupathi Bhat during his tenure.
